Users looking to get started with Excel 2010 have a wide range of resources at their disposal not only from Microsoft, but also from third-parties.

An illustrative example in this regard is a collection of video tutorials  available free of charge to all customers.

According to Kim Spilker, a product manager at Microsoft Learning, the 15 videos shared by O’Reilly on YouTube are based on the Excel 2010 Step by Step book.

“The Microsoft Press Step by Step video series teaches Microsoft software and technologies visually, in an easy-to-follow visual format,” Spilker said.

“Each video in the series is based on a specific book in the highly successful Step by Step print book series, and adds best practices, tips, tricks, and enhanced explanations and commentary. You'll learn just what you need, just when you need it.”
