A new version of AVG Antivirus Free is now available for download, fixing a number of bugs that were reported by users in the previous builds.

As you could easily guess by simply reading the version number, AVG Antivirus Free 2014 Build 4569a7320 doesn’t bring any new features, but it’s instead focused on addressing bugs and dealing with performance issues on all Windows versions out there.

AVG Antivirus Free is one of the applications that will continue to run on Windows XP for at least two more years, despite the end of support that has been reached a few days ago. End of support means that no other security updates and patches will be delivered to Windows XP computers, but AVG says that its anti-virus app will continue to work on this particular OS version just like before.

In addition to XP, the application comes with support for all Windows versions on the market, including the newly-launched Windows 8.1 that also received a major update this week.

Overall, those who have already deployed this particular security solution should make sure they are running the latest version as soon as possible, so download AVG Antivirus Free 2014 Build 4569a7320 right now to fix any bugs that exist in the program.
