Adobe keeps improving its Flash Player client runtime with new options and bug fixes, so a new version was officially released this morning for users of all browsers out there.

Adobe Flash Player 11.8.800.175 doesn’t bring too many improvements, but it’s instead supposed to fix an important bug that was experienced by Windows users.

According to the developing team, the “ExternalInterface.call() method with non-ASCII text as a parameter corrupts the characters on the Javascript side,” so it’s critical for Windows and Internet Explorer users to download and install this new Flash Player release.

Flash Player should basically work with all popular browsers currently on the market, including Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer 7 and above, Safari, and Opera 11 or newer, be they beta or stable versions.
