Adobe Flash Player has received a new update this morning in order to improve the overall performance on Windows computers and fix some of the security issues found in older builds.

According to the official release notes, Adobe Flash Player 11.9.900.152 contains fixes for critical vulnerabilities identified in security bulletin APSB13-26, which means that loading websites comprising Flash content is now a little bit more secure.

The Windows version of Flash Player comes with support for all editions of Microsoft’s operating system, while also offering compatibility with the top browsers on the market, including Opera and Firefox.

A beta version of the client runtime is also up for grabs for those willing to try out some of the features before they reach the final build, but keep in mind that a number of bugs might still be experienced.

Usually, beta versions of Windows applications are only recommended to those who are ready to diagnose bugs and send feedback to the parent company in order to fix them before the final version comes out, so unless you're a tech savvy user who knows how to do that, it's better to stick to the stable build.

Overall, all users are recommended to install this new update as soon as possible, so just go ahead and download Adobe Flash Player 11.9.900.152 right now to make sure you are on the safe side.
