Adobe has just rolled out the first beta version of Flash Player 14, thus allowing developers and users alike to try it out before it hits the market as a stable product.

The new version comes with lots of changes, including improvements for anisotropic filtering tools and a new Stage3D standard profile.

“This new texture sampling filter can enhance the image quality of textures on surfaces that are at oblique viewing angles,” Adobe said about the improved anisotropic filtering, while also adding that the new standard profile for Stage3D settings comes with three new settings, as it follows: multiple render target, floating point texture and AGAL version 2.

As you could easily figure out by reading these changes, the new Flash Player version is mostly aimed at developers, so if you're just a regular user, you should really stick to build number 13, which is much more stable and provides a bug-free experience.

On the other hand, this new release surely comes in handy whenever you wish to test Flash-based applications before the next stable build reaches the market, so download Adobe Flash Player 14 Beta right now. Keep in mind that it's the first beta of version 14, so a number of glitches might still exist.
