Adobe has just rolled out another update for the beta version of its Flash Player, implementing a number of changes and performance improvements aimed at various platforms.

For example, Adobe Flash Player 11.9.900.149 Beta comes to correct a Windows 7 issue causing the Simple Chinese characters to be displayed as a box or question mark on the AutoUpdate dialog.

What’s more important is that it also packs some enhancements aimed at Windows 8.1 platforms, addressing an Internet Explorer 11 issue that forced an initial button press to be ignored.

Don’t forget that this is still a beta version of Flash Player, so a number of issues might still be experienced when loading certain websites on specific platforms, such as the newly-launched Windows 8.1
