Amazon released the PC version for their client for online music streaming. Amazon Cloud Player can be used to manage music in the cloud by organizing it in playlists as well as download and store it on the computer.

The application has been designed as a hub for all your music, stored both in the Amazon cloud and on the computer since it can check the entire computer for audio files and import them to its own library.

Furthermore, it automatically imports audio files from iTunes and Windows Media Player. On the other hand, exporting music purchases from Amazon to these two players is also possible.

According to the developer’s specifications Amazon Cloud Player works on Windows XP SP3, Vista (32 and 64 bit) and Windows 7 (32 and 64 bit); however, we had no trouble using it on Windows 8, too. A version for Mac systems is currently in the works.

Accessing Cloud Player service from Amazon requires an account.
