Microsoft has started a major reorganization and even though CEO Steve Ballmer expects the company to get back on track in the coming months, that’s not going to happen according to an analyst.

BGC analyst Colin W. Gillis wrote in a research note that Microsoft will continue to have difficulties in the coming months, especially because the PC market won’t recover anytime soon.

What’s more, Gillis said according to ValueWalk that the online services division is very likely to continue its decline, as the company is still spending big in its area.

Last but not least, the analyst believes that Windows 8.1, the first major refresh of the new Windows 8 operating system, might not have what it takes to revamp Microsoft’s platform, as it continues to offer an experience that’s very different from the one provided by Windows 7.
