SlySoft released a new update for their AnyDVD product, incrementing the build number to 7.2.2.0.

The developer announced that the fresh revision has extended the list of supported Blu-ray discs as well as the one for DVDs.

It also added a workaround for a glitch occurring with WinDVD that caused the player to hang when speedmenus are enabled.

Another issue addressed touches on DVDs and resulted in the AI scanner making some of the discs unplayable.

The release notes also inform that the developer implemented a set of minor fixes and improvements, but there are no specifics available.

AnyDVD is designed to work in the background and enable read access to the content of a disc (DVD or Blu-ray) in the optical drive of the computer.
