Ashampoo released the first beta build for version 10 of their photo managing suite, Photo Commander. The current build has been enhanced with new features and functions that touch on components such as media scanning and importing, sharing or editing and optimizing.

Photo Commander 10 beta can import images and videos from digital cameras, shows improved support for RAW format and color profiles in JPG files and it can handle Google’s WebP format.

Editing and optimization module shows a new gradation curve tool, histogram and improved controls. The range of tools has been expanded and includes a Repair, Focus effect and Flood fill instruments.

The new version of the bundle allows you to upload pictures or photo albums to online services, such as Facebook, YouTube or Picasa.

As for performance, it should load up faster and use less memory.
