Ashampoo launched today a new major release for their photo management and touch-up software, Photo Commander.

Version 11 of the suite introduces several new features and improvements. Users can now achieve the miniature effect with the new, adjustable Tilt-Shift tool or check real-time previews before selecting the desired effect.

Thanks to the In-Paint technology available in this release, users can spend less time cleaning the image of unwanted elements such as scratches or various objects. Multiple selections are present: marker and lasso.

Photo Commander 11 makes it easy to return to a previous version of a picture, even if you saved it on the disk. This can be done from the Backups section which now saves multiple copies, allowing you to return to the original file.

3D support is also included in this release. 3D images (MPO and JPS) are displayed as animations in order to offer a pseudo 3D effect on 2D screens.

Furthermore, Photo Commander from Ashampoo comes with improved file handling, increased support for RAW files and faster browsing in the case of photo collections larger than 3,000 items.
