Asphalt 8: Airborne is one of the most popular racing games on Windows 8.1 and Gameloft knows this very well, so the company is trying to provide users with updates on a regular basis.

A new update was officially launched today, bringing a number of bug fixes and performance improvements on both desktops and tablets.

While no information has been provided in this new build, the game continues to boast the same rich feature package that includes 47 high-performance cars, including Lamborghini and Ferrari models, 9 different races, an advanced damage system and new Infected & Drift Gate game modes.

As mentioned, the game comes with support for both desktops and tablets running the new Windows 8.1 operating system, so you can download Asphalt 8: Airborne even if you’re planning to play it on a Surface RT device.
