Version 2.0.3 has officially become the latest stable build for Audacity. The application had only one release candidate to solve the remaining problems from the beta revision.

Audacity 2.0.3 integrates several bug fixes that should increase overall stability and functionality. The repairs address the problem with toolbar buttons that could not be pressed by “Enter” key; playback and rendering issues were also dealt with and the loop play of a sped-up track should no longer insert silent segments.

As for the changes and improvements, the new release sports new effects and new features added to Time Tracks; as such, now you have at your disposal a vertical scale with options for linear and logarithmic display and interpolation. Also, upper and lower speed limits will now be remembered when saving and reopening a project.
