More bugs and stability issues should be eliminated

It did not take long for the second release candidate for Audacity 2.0 to come out, since the launch of the first one took place less than a week ago. There aren’t any official notes about the modifications available, but stability issues as well as bugs should be eliminated.

The plan for version 2.0 of the application is to replace the current stable release, 1.2.6.

However, all progress in Audacity 2.0 derives from the 1.3 beta release of the software. The changes since the last beta (1.3.14) refer mainly to bug fixes and very few improvements. Among the latter, there is a new interface option that can show the name of track in the waveform display.

This version features longer default playback preference for effects preview and preview before cut. Also, you can use Page Up/Down hotkey to scroll horizontally.
