Microsoft’s co-founder has a net worth of $67 billion (€51.5 billion)

Microsoft co-founder and chairman Bill Gates remains the second richest man in the entire world, according to the 2013 Forbes Billionaires list, as he’s only $6 billion (€4.6 billion) behind Carlos Slim, the Mexican mogul who currently has a net worth of $73 billion (€56 billion).

This means that Bill Gates’ net worth has reached $67 billion (€51.5 billion), even though he’s spending quite a lot of money on his charity foundation.

Forbes’ billionaire list is now comprising a total of 1,426 names, out of which 442 are living in the United States. In case you’re wondering, their aggregate net worth reached a record $5.4 trillion.

As for Bill Gates, he managed to boost his net worth by approximately $6 billion (€4.6 billion) from March 2012, mostly thanks to the investments he made to various companies across the world.
