Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer are the newest members of Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg’s immigration reform group FWD.us announced in early April.

Both Gates and Ballmer are thus showing their support for the immigration reform backed by the group and the concepts it promotes, such as offering engineering grad students working permits in the country.

FWD.us has already received the support of several other high-profile tech executives, including Reed Hastings, Founder and CEO of Netflix, Max Levchin, co-founder of PayPal, and Yahoo’s Marissa Mayer, according to AllThingsD.

Gates and Ballmer are yet to issue a comment on this, but Microsoft is one of the companies who called for the government to offer more visas to foreign workers, as the tech giant claimed that some of its positions cannot be filled due to the lack of IT engineers in the country.
