Bing Maps Preview is an application that’s specifically aimed at Windows 8.1 users, bringing exclusive 3D imagery with cities across the world right in the Modern UI of the new operating system.

Thanks to an update released today, the app now covers even more cities with 3D photos, which pushes the number of locations included in Bing Maps Preview to more than 100.

“With this release, the Bing Maps team passed the 100-city mark and continues on. Our count today is over 125 highly detailed 3D cities viewable through the Bing Maps Preview app available exclusively on Windows 8.1. Have you been to any of these vacation spots?” the company notes.

As you most likely know by now, the app is offered free of charge to Windows 8.1 users and works on both desktops and tablets, while also offering Window RT compatibility. This means that those with a Surface RT tablet can also download and install it on their devices.

The best of all is that the app is also expanding to non-US locations, so this update for example brings 3D imagery from Denmark. More updates are obviously expected to be included in the app very soon.

Check out the list of cities included in this update in the screenshot below and download Bing Maps Preview for Windows 8.1 to check out the new 3D imagery right now.
