Microsoft is reportedly testing a new feature of its Bing search engine that offers users new information on the daily background loaded together with the main page.
Neowin.net writes that this new feature shows a lot more details than the standard info button at the bottom of the page, including the location of the displayed wallpaper.
In addition, this new feature is apparently boasting some kind of Facebook integration that would allow visitors to comment on a specific background, but it’s yet unclear how this is going to work.
The new background information panel isn’t available for the time being, so it was most likely a test, but expect to see it go live later this year. Microsoft has tested several new Bing features lately, so the company may be working on a major overhaul of its search engine.
