Microsoft is reportedly planning to implement some new features in Windows that would allow users to run Android apps on their PCs, but until then, BlueStacks remains pretty much the only option for those trying to do that right now.

An update released today for the app is supposed to enhance the overall experience offered by BlueStacks by adding a couple of new options, while also fixing some of the bugs found in the previous builds.

According to the official release notes, BlueStacks 0.8.10.3096 comes with key mappings for apps that are now automatically updated when they are refreshed, while the initial startup of the program has been optimized significantly yielding reductions of 60% or greater in standardized lab tests.

Bugs have also been fixed, including issues affecting the Modern environment in Windows 8, as some users complained that, when launching an app from the live tile, BlueStacks crashes all of a sudden.

The developing team also replaced a few app images in the installer and addressed some issues with the loading screen which have been already confirmed by many users.

Overall, there is clearly no doubt that every update that this app gets comes in very handy to everyone who tries to run Android apps on Windows, so download BlueStacks 0.8.10.3096 right away to see what it brings new on Microsoft's operating system.
