BlueStacks, the nifty utility that allows running Android applications on Windows machines, has received a fresh update, namely build 0.8.2.3018.

Still in beta, the new BlueStacks packs a small but important number of fixes. The developer informs that users should no longer experience the bug that caused flickering in various apps.

On the list of products affected by this issue there is BBM, WhatsApp, WeChat, as well as games like Clash of Clans and The Simpsons: Tapped Out.

Apart from this, the new build adds support for I18N keyboard layout and has increased its localization (Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese and Norwegian).

Among the advantages in BlueStacks, there is the possibility to run Android apps in full screen and it supports installation of up to 26 favorite apps (requires at least 2GB of RAM). You can download BlueStacks from Softpedia.
