The official Box client for Windows 8 has just received a new batch of improvements, this time aimed at the security tools offered to users.

According to the official release notes published in the Store, the new build adds support for 2-factor authentication at login, as well as email verification step for new account registration.

Support for bookmark object and the ability to remove collaborations and change their permission levels are available too, the changelog reads. Swedish and Finnish localization has been implemented as well.

The application continues to work flawlessly on all Windows 8 builds, so you can install it not only on the desktop versions of Microsoft’s new operating system, but also on Windows RT tablets, such as Microsoft’s own Surface RT.
