Breezy may not be such an advanced weather app for Windows 8, but it definitely packs a good-looking interface and the essential features to keep you up to date with the latest weather forecasts.

The app has just received an update that marks the switch to a new forecast API for better accuracy and more coverage, according to the official release notes, so Breezy should now be capable of providing better forecasts for even more locations.

As usual, it works on every Windows 8 version on the market and is fully optimized for the touch, which means that deploying it on Windows RT tablets is easy as pie.

Last but not least, Breezy is completely free and no in-app ads are displayed, regardless of whether you’re running the desktop version of Windows 8 or the tablet flavor.
