Breezy, one of the simple and eye-candy weather apps on Windows 8, has just received a major update that brings not only bug fixes, but also a couple of new features.

First of all, the app now comes with toast push notification that can alert you of any precipitation changes that could take place in the next hour.

“Notifications are supported in most locations, those that are supported by hyperlocal forecast (United States, United Kingdom, Ireland, and small parts of Canada) are more accurate,” developers explained.

Live tile notifications are also introduced by this new version, so the current weather is now displayed right on the Start Screen, regardless of whether you’re running Windows 8 on a desktop computer or on a tablet.
