Users are complaining that Windows 8.1 broke down their Internet connections

More Windows 8.1 issues are being discovered every day, as more users decide to make the move to Microsoft's latest operating system.

This time, consumers are reporting that browsing is extremely slow in Windows 8.1, with some pages even failing to load, regardless of the browser they are using.

Here's what one of the affected Windows 8.1 adopters is writing on Microsoft's Community forums:

“I upgraded to Windows 8.1 this morning and when it finished I had variable internet connections. A page would work, then it wouldn't. This occurred in Chrome, IE and Firefox. So then I tried to run a game through ORIGIN (EA) and Origin couldn't connect so Cloud games couldn't be retrieved. Any program I have that accesses the Internet struggled.”

At this point, there doesn't seem to be a workaround available, but the issue is most likely caused by network adapters drivers. A clean install and installing the latest network drivers could fix all problems.
