A new BurnAware beta that got to see daylight this morning comes to provide those looking for an easy-to-use and powerful burning tool with new options, but also with lots of improvements for older builds.

BurnAware Free 6.5 Beta includes a feature to store CD-Text in CUE image, as well as support for new disc image formats, such as BIN, NRG, IMG, and DMG. RAW mode support has also been implemented for disc image recording.

In addition, the new beta comes with updated burning engine and optimized file extraction and sorting function. It also fixes a number of bugs, including those causing slow verification of some discs, slow disc reading while copying and free space detection of closed discs.

Just like the full release, this beta version is supposed to work on all Windows versions still supported by Microsoft, including Windows XP, 7 and 8.
