Users running Windows 10 Technical Preview build 9926 on their computers and looking for an app to boost system performance and remove unnecessary files from the local drives can now download CCleaner, as today the app has received support for this new OS version.

CCleaner 5.03 works with Windows 10 build 9926, while also adding Google Chrome IndexedDB cleaning capabilities, so the app should now be more effective when trying to remove temporary files created by Google's browser.

At the same time, the new version also adds improved Firefox and Google Chrome session cleaning, as well as better keyboard navigation and shortcuts, updates for various translations, and minor GUI improvements and bug fixes for all supported Windows versions.

The improved support for Windows 10 might come a little bit too late as Microsoft is already giving the final touches to a new build of the technical preview that could see the light of day as soon as this week. Microsoft is thus preparing to roll out a new testing version of Windows 10, so CCleaner developers will most likely start work on adding compatibility for this new build in the next update.

In the meantime, this new version is really worth a try if you want to boost system performance and remove unnecessary files, so go ahead and download CCleaner 5.03 right now to get all these improvements on your PC as well.
