CPU-Z has received a new update this morning that brings support for several new processors and mainboards, which means that the app can now provide information for a bigger number of configurations.

CPU-Z 1.68 comes with support for AMD Kaveri APUs (A10-7850K, A10-7800, A10-7700K, A8-7600, A6-7400K, A4-7300), Intel Celeron Haswell (G1830, G1820), Intel series 9 chipset (Z97), and Intel i7-4790, i5-4690, i5-4590, i5-4460 (Haswell refresh), according to the official release notes.

Of course, the application continues to provide support for all Windows editions currently on the market, so you can download CPU-Z even if you’ve already made the move to Windows 8.1.

The feature lineup remains basically unchanged, so you’ll still be allowed to view information about your computer and generate TXT or HTML reports to check out all pieces of hardware.
