There are plenty of software solutions out there that can provide information about the hardware parts hidden underneath the hood of your computer, but there's no doubt that CPU-Z is one of the lightest and most effective choices for Windows users.

And thanks to an update released recently, CPU-Z is providing support for even more hardware components, including Intel Haswell-E processors.

Starting with version 1.69.2, CPU-Z also offers preliminary support for DDR4 memory, but the feature is still in the early development stages, so a number of issues can still be found. More improvements will be included in the next few versions, so expect CPU-Z to work better with DDR4 memory in the coming months.

Last but not least, the new build improves AMD FCH detection, as some users reported a number of problems in the previous builds of the app.

Of course, CPU-Z continues to provide support for all Windows versions on the market, including Windows XP, even though Microsoft has officially retired it and no longer releases patches and security updates for this edition of the operating system.

In the end, this new update should come in handy to users who have recently upgraded their computers, so download CPU-Z 1.69.2 right now to see what's new.
