CPU-Z received an update to build 1.65. It is a minor revision that extends the list of supported components.

The developer announced that the application can now work with AMD Opteron X1150 and X2150 processors, as well as FX-9590 and FX-9370 from the same manufacturer.

Intel is also on the list, with 4xxxHQ "Crystalwell" CPUs and Pentium "Haswell" G3430, G3420, G3220 products.

The installer for CPU-Z 1.65 can detect automatically if the system is 32-bit or 64-bit and select the appropriate resources for installation.

Despite its name suggesting that the information it can offer is limited to the central processing unit, CPU can also provide details about the mainboard, such as name, vendor, BIOS, chipset, memory, and AGP.

The desktop version for CPU-Z can be downloaded from this page; the application is also available as a portable download.
