Windows 8.1 RTM is expected to be released in a few months, so designers around the world are now hard at work to create concepts envisioning some of the features of the upcoming operating system.

DeviantArt user arcticpaco has created this good-looking File Explorer concept which he hopes to be implemented in the final version of Windows 8.1.

While we’re pretty sure that this isn’t going to happen, the File Explorer concept indeed looks great, even though some users could complain about the lack of an address bar.

It still mixes the Modern design style with the familiar desktop look quite great and provides a very eye-candy way of browsing local folders, while also packing the famous libraries providing one-click access to pictures, documents, music, and videos stored on your hard drives.
