Windows 8.1 is supposed to work just as smooth as Windows 8, so most, if not all products that are compatible with the core operating system are expected to get along very well with the update too.

Microsoft has rolled out a service to help users find out whether a specific product is compatible with Windows 8.1 or not, including here, drivers, app updates, stand-alone software, and hardware.

The only thing you have to do on this page is to enter the product name and hit “Search,” with Microsoft showing compatibility information with Windows 8.1 or Windows RT 8.1.

The Compatibility Center is said to show information for the final version of 8.1 too, so in case you’ve already downloaded one of the many leaks out there, make sure you have a look on Microsoft’s updated service to find out whether a specific app works on it or not.
