New Settings page holds configuration options in one place

Chromium 19 is now available and, as usual, there are no release notes to point out the changes. Modifications may escape even those that are familiar with the web browser, especially if they are not aesthetic.

However, there is one change you won’t miss if you played around with it in the past, and that is the remodeling of the Settings page, which will be perpetuated in future versions of Google Chrome.

If you thought that this area could not get any simpler, Chromium developers just proved you wrong, as they came up with a more condensed layout for the configuration panel.

Simply put, the options are no longer spread across three sections, Basics, Personal Stuff and Under the Hood, but are available in a single one. Take a look at the images in the gallery below.
