The Windows Phone assistant gets new options for Christmas

Starting this week, the Windows Phone personal assistant Cortana can also tell you the location of Santa Claus, but it appears that Microsoft has implemented a few more Christmas goodies for this catchy feature.

Starting this holiday season, Cortana can also sing Christmas songs and can provide answers to a new series of questions, which makes chitchatting a bit more exciting for Windows Phone users.

As WindowsCentral writes, Microsoft hasn't yet published all Christmas-themes inquiries that Cortana supports right now, so it's up to users to discover them all.

At these point, here's what you can tell Cortana to get Christmas responses:

Merry (or Happy) Christmas! Where is Santa? Sing me a Christmas song Do you like Christmas? What do you want for Christmas?

Obviously, you don't need to download anything to get these new goodies on your phone because everything takes places server-side.

Needless to say, they do not bring anything new in terms of productivity or stuff like that, but they're a great way to stay entertained while using your Windows Phone. Of course, more such enhancements are likely to be implemented in the coming weeks, so we'll keep you posted every time we find a new secret answer that Cortana can provide to its users.
