Microsoft puts Cortana up against Siri in a new video

There's no doubt that Microsoft is really proud of Cortana and the way it works on Windows Phone, so it's not such a big surprise that new videos showing the personal assistant working side-by-side with its rivals come on a regular basis.

In fact, Microsoft has made it a common thing to put Cortana up against Apple's Siri and a video released today does basically the same thing, but this time with a new motif.

Microsoft uses Siri on an iPhone 6 Plus to point out that no matter the phone dimensions, it's actually “a more personal personal assistant” that you need to do your work easier and at some level, the software giant is right.

Of course, Microsoft used this occasion to praise the Lumia 830, a device that has them all, including Cortana, Glance Screen, a 5-inch screen, and Gorilla Glass 3.

If this makes any difference, it's also worth mentioning that Lumia 830 comes with a Snapdragon 400 processor and 1 GB of RAM, enough to run most of the apps and games in the Windows Phone store right now. 16 GB of internal storage is also offered, but space can also be increased with a microSD card of up to 128 GB.

As usual, don't trust everything you see in these commercial, but we must admit that Cortana is indeed better than Siri when it comes to personal things such as appointments, traffic recommendations, and reminders based on whom you text or talk to.
