CrystalDiskInfo has been updated over the weekend, to version 5.4.0. The list of changes accompanying this release is not large and includes support for new hardware as well as increased compatibility for components already supported.

The new revision adds support for USB memory, but the default configuration has the option set to disabled. You can turn it on from the Advanced Feature menu, under USB/IEEE1394.

The developer worked on improving support for SSD hardware components from Plextor and Toshiba. Health status detection has been updated and now the S.M.A.R.T. attribute End-to-End Error is excluded.

The digital signature has also been updated and the language files have added new strings. On the same note, all the language files have been updated.

CrystalDiskInfo is available for download from this page. You can also get it as a portable program, from here.
