Stardock rolled out an update for Decor8, their customization solution for the modern background screen in Windows 8 and Windows 8.1.

The latest revision of the application does not bring to the table new features but it integrates a small batch of repairs.

The developer announced that users should no longer experience significant CPU usage because of Decor8.

Some users reported that the application would sometimes revert the start menu colors to black, a glitch that has been eliminated, according to the changelog.

Also repaired is the issue with Explorer windows jumping to the top of the screen; apparently, this behavior was triggered by a random option in Decor8 (priced at $4.99 / €4.70).

This build of the application is currently available for Object Desktop (priced at $49.99 / €37) customers, too.
