DownTube is currently one of the most popular YouTube apps in the Windows 8 Store, so every new version is downloaded and installed by quite a lot of users.

A new build reached the web today, bringing three changes that are supposed to contribute to improved overall stability, as well as to faster loading times and enhanced performance.

This particular version comes to fix a crash when running the app in Snap View mode and to repair an issue that caused the settings to load each time you reinstall DownTube.

In addition, the overall size of the app has been reduced, so it should now take less space on your computer.

DownTube is obviously compatible with all Windows 8 versions currently on the market, so you can install it on x86, 64, and ARM builds.
