Microsoft rolled out this month’s Patch Tuesday updates a few hours ago, fixing several vulnerabilities it found in Windows, Internet Explorer, and Office.

While all fixes are being delivered via Windows Update, which makes it pretty easy for users who need to install them right away, the company is also offering them as a separate download and packed into a single so-called Security Release ISO Image.

The only difference is that this ISO image only comprises Windows updates and no other patches for Microsoft software are included.

On the other hand, the updates are aimed at basically all Windows versions currently supported by Microsoft, starting with the aging XP and ending with Windows 8.1. Windows RT 8.1 is also among the operating systems that can be patched using this ISO image.

The pack is mostly aimed at system administrators, but you can download the Security Release ISO Image November 2013 for free regardless of your purpose.
