Multiple icons can be used side-by-side in columns

The newest revision for Calibre is currently 1.4 and it has just been released by the developer. Among other things, the fresh build introduces a feature that allows the use of multiple icons, side-by-side, with column icon rules.

In the configuration panel, under Look and Feel>Column icons you can set more than one icon when creating a rule. Alternatively, multiple rules matching the same book can be created and specifying the icon type to be composed (with or without text).

As far as support for DOCX is concerned, the developer added the possibility to embed EMF images as well, which are wrappers around a raster image.

Repairs are also available for this build. The issue with font subsetting not working in the case of a conversion with more than 4000 glyphs has been eliminated.

On the same note, a regression that impeded the processing of HTML files containing metadata tags with “dc: namespace” attribute values has been dealt with.
