Sync aims to provide the same Chrome experience on all supported devices

Google has just updated the Chrome stable channel, bringing to the table a feature that users of the beta and dev releases have been toying with for a while now: tab synchronization.

As its name clearly states, all tabs opened in Chrome on one device are readily accessible on another through the newly introduced “Other devices” menu at the bottom of the new tab page.

The functionality is not trimmed at all when opening a synced link because the back and forward buttons work without any problem, allowing you to pick up browsing from where you left. Bookmarks, apps, extensions, history, themes, and other settings are also synchronized between devices.

In order to benefit from the same experience on multiple Chrome instances you have to sign into the browser with your Google account. The feature will roll out gradually over the next weeks.
