Dropbox has just received a new update that brings several bug fixes, plus feature improvements for Windows XP users.

Even though Windows XP will be soon discontinued, Dropbox has been enhanced with several patches supposed to fix an issue with icon overlays not showing up in the soon-to-be 12-year-old operating system.

In addition, Dropbox 2.0.12 lowers CPU usage when idle, so a notable system performance should be noticed after deploying the new version.

The unstable Dropbox 2.1.15 Experimental also comes with a new round of improvements.

Subfolders of shared folders no longer have a “Share” option in the context menu, while the new build also addresses issues with long files name on Windows and with higher than normal CPU usage in idle mode.
