Progress on Dropbox Experimental continues, with new revisions popping up with the same frequency the developer has accustomed us with. Today, another forum build, 1.3.41, has been released for the file synchronization application.
It is a maintenance release that does away with a very persistent issue that caused Dropbox to take considerable time to restart after prolonged usage. This is an issue that I’m sure many of you already faced.
This is not the only entry in the list of changes for this release, but it is the most notable, as the developer also added an unspecified set of small fixes.
Development on the regular version of Dropbox is also going smoothly, as the company announced yesterday that files and folders can be shared with anyone (this includes non-Dropbox users) via a short link.
