The first release candidate for MediaMonkey 4.0.5 is out and available for download. The changes present in this revision consist mainly of repairs related to compatibility with portable devices and iOS.

Some of the issues the developer dealt with include showing the playlist twice on non-iOS devices after upgrading from MediaMonkey 4.0.3, incorrectly named iPods (a regressed bug); quirky iOS synchronization, which consisted in updated tags failing to update on the device should no longer occur.

Other problems referred to users being able to access options when in Party Mode, some tracks popping up constantly in unsync Tags. Also, the bug that caused MediaMonkey not to start for some users has been tracked down and eliminated.

MediaMonkey is a powerful media manager that can help you handle both music and video. You can download it from here.
