Microsoft has just unveiled a 60-day trial version for the upcoming Office Professional Plus 2013 productivity suite, letting those who want to buy the software give it a spin before making a purchase.

The trial package is available via the Technet website and includes all of the popular Office apps, such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, OneNote, Access, Publisher and Lync.

Of course, the new productivity suite bearing Microsoft’s badge is fully optimized for Windows 8 and comes with a touch-friendly interface, which means that it can also be used on tablets.

This version, however, will only work on the upcoming Surface Pro, as it’ll be the only one capable of running legacy Windows apps.

The trial version comes in both 32- and 64-bit flavors and is available in several languages, including English, German, Spanish, French, Chinese and Japanese.
