Version 2.3.7 of NoScript is out, getting rid of some bugs that prevented the correct functioning of the add-on. The new revision does not bring to the table any new features, only a small set of repairs.
Among the modifications featured by the new revision, there is a workaround for “rapid fire” protection, which would interfere with some other add-ons installed, 1Password and FloatNotes being two of them.
Another fix deals with compatibility problems with Bitdefender’s TrafficLight, a tool also designed to keep you safe from phishing or malicious web pages while browsing.
Third on the list is XSS (cross-site scripting) related and enhances InjectionChecker tolerance to certain URL patterns that contain domain-names as parameter values.
This revision is available after a number of no less than five release candidates that sported various tweaks for the aforementioned problems.
