Panda Security announced today the release of a maintenance update for their Cloud Antivirus, fixing bugs reported mainly by the community. However, it also features a new toolbar and several improvements.

Panda Cloud Antivirus 1.5.2 (reviewed here) brings to the table faster on-demand scans as well as improved integration with Collective Intelligence backend, which should cut down the time for obtaining info on new malware.

The toolbar drops Yahoo search and adopts the Google search engine instead.

Fixes tackle slowdowns when deleting items, synchronization errors, issued occurring when scanning certain types of folders, upgrade notification popping up every 20 minutes and BSODs triggered by unloading one of Panda’s drivers under certain conditions.

Another problem repaired in this build is with disinfection with malware running in the memory. Also, in some cases malware detected without Internet connection would not show up in the event report.
