Mozilla has officially released Firefox 23.0.1 a couple of days ago, but the unofficial portable version has reached the web only a few minutes ago.

The application packs the same features as the standard build, including fixes aimed at rendering glitches on H.264 video and the broken spellchecking options.

In addition, Portable Firefox 23.0.1 comes with mixed content blocking enabled to protect users from man-in-the-middle attacks and eavesdroppers on HTTPS pages, according to the official release notes, but also with an options panel created for the Web Developer Toolbox.

As compared to the full build, the portable version is only aimed at Windows computers, with support offered for all editions of the operating system, including XP, Vista, 7 and 8. Both 32- and 64-bit versions work just fine.
