Microsoft SQL Server 2012 users behold! Microsoft has just released the third cumulative update for consumers who had already deployed Service Pack 1, so everyone is now recommended to start downloading and installing the patches.

The Redmond-based technology company claims that this new cumulative update comprises all hotfixes released after the initial launch of SQL Server 2012 SP1, most of which are supposed to repair reported bugs.

“Apply it only to systems that are experiencing these specific problems. This cumulative update package may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by any of these problems, we recommend that you wait for the next SQL Server 2012 service pack that contains the hotfixes in this cumulative update package,” Microsoft says.

The cumulative update is aimed at Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Service Pack 1 on the developer, enterprise, standard and web versions.
