14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft rolled out a new set of improvements for Skype this week, so consumers are recommended to update to the latest version as soon as possible.
The same enhancements have finally been implemented into the unofficial portable build as well, including the video messaging optimizations and the included bug fixes.
Keep in mind that this isn't an official app rolled out by Microsoft, but Skype Portable still works like a charm on basically all Windows versions out there, so you can use it on the go without prior installation.
All features are still there, letting you chat with your Skype contacts wherever you go. Version 6.6 brings several stability and performance improvements, so unexpected crashes or freezes should no longer occur after updating to this build.
