14 DAY TRIAL // A new build for UltraDefrag popped up over the weekend. The new version sports improvements as well as repairs. Internationalization support was added to the file fragmentation reports and some of the translations have been updated.
As far as the fixes are concerned, UltraDefrag 5.0.4 can now mark the volumes needing CHKDSK repair in the drives list (check the status field). The developer added taskbar icon overlay possibility on Windows 7 in order to keep the user informed that a job is running; you can turn it on or off from the “show_taskbar_icon_overlay” configuration option.
The application now features menu icons for high DPI screens and checking for updates can be done manually, in case the automatic switch has been turned off.
